Use of Hadith as Legal thinking / Significance
- Like Quran, Hadith is also the source of legal thinking.
- Quran is the word of ALLAH and HADITH is the practical demonstration.
- When muslim empire was expended, it was direly felt that another source should be developed to explain the Holy Quran so Hadith was developed and encouraged to be used a source of legal thinking. ~~Eachknowledge.blogspot.com ~~~~
- Abu Bakr (R) used to look into the Quran for the solution over there, he would consult the companions & recall the way prophet (S) dealt with such situation.
- The companion of Prophet (S) knew that the actions of prophet (S) should be followed if no clear instructions are found from the Holy Quran.
- The incident of Muaz bin Jabal governor Yemen,
- The need of Ahadis & sunnah was even recognized during the life of Prophet (S).
