SUNNAH / AHADITH
- Sunnah literally means an act which is done regularly.
- It terms of religion, Sunnah is the work done by Prophet (SAW).
- Sunnah is the work of Prophet (SAW) while Hadith, to be different, is the words of Prophets (SAw) Types of Hadith
- Hadith-e-Nabi Words of Prophet (SAW) expressed by himself.
- Hdith-e-Qudsi Words of Allah narrated by Prophet (SAW) Collection & Compilation of Hadith;
- Muhaddis is the one who had the absolute knowledge of Ahadith.
- Imam Bukhari has written Sahih Al-Bukhari' containing about 6000 Ahadith out of which about 2000 are repeated one.
- It is convenient to study Ahadith in any of the Six Authentic Compilations but extreme care was taken by Muhaddiseen for compiling these books.
- Ahadith are arranged in the Sahih Al-Bukhari in two different orders.
