Relation Between Quran and Sunnah / Ahadith
- Quran, being the Word of ALLAH, contains the types of religion & traits major issues but Hadith & Sunnah of Prophet (SAW) contains the details of the instructions.
- The Holy Quran says; ''And establish the prayer and pay the poor-due.....''
- How many times to pray & how to pray is explained through Sunnah & Hadith & similarity the quantity of Zakat is also explained through Sunnah and Hadith.
- Quran gives instructions about the laws but not all the instructions of Shariah are clearly started in it.
- There are many things need to be explained so the Laws cannot be comprehended without the Hadith or Sunnah.
- The Quran itselt says ''He who obeys the Messenger obeys ALLAH''
- Quran asks for the distribution of inheritance but the share of each of the heirs is explained through the Hadith.
- The Quran mentions that ALLAH loves purity and commands Muslims to purify before prayer but Sunnah and Hadith give the detailed method of purification.
- After the Quran, Ahadis & Sunnah are most precious sources of guidence, which muslims possesses besides Quran.
